About Us
Breeder/Owner Carol Duke
Carol Duke has dedicated her entire life to the preservation of animals. As one of the first female jockeys and a trainer of thoroughbred racehorses, she has decades of experience in animal husbandry and breeding. As an AKC Breeder of Merit, she applies this knowledge and love of animals to her Labrador and Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. Her puppies are incredible show dogs and field dogs, but more importantly, they are loving pets.
Experienced Breeders
We are a small breeder located in Southwest Florida.
We selectively breed. Our goal is to produce a well rounded Chesapeake Bay Retriever or Labrador that can perform in the field, show ring, be your best friend/companion or a specialty such as obedience or therapy.
Our adult dogs are health tested.
Healthy Adults and Puppies
We feed our dogs individual diets to keep them in good health for their age and activity level.

Our dogs have excelled in the show ring, field, obedience, agility, therapy. We even have a girl in Tenn. doing search and rescue.
All the adults are DNA tested and Hip/Elbow tested.

The Chesapeake is sometimes called the "velcro" dog because the Chessie loves being with the people they love. In the field they are renowned for their intelligence and ability to mark. No matter the harsh conditions, freezing water the Chessie is willing.
That's the Chesapeake Bay Retriever. With obedience training your Chessie can be your best friend at home or in the duck blind.
